Mayaro.org is a public-interest directory for the south-east coast. Every trust label on the site means one specific thing, and each one has a date attached.
What each label means
Unclaimed
Compiled by our editors from public sources and visits. No owner manages the page.
Not guaranteed: The owner has not reviewed anything shown here.
Owner-claimed
An authorised person claimed the page and accepted our accuracy terms.
Not guaranteed: Claiming alone does not verify identity, licensing or quality.
Contact confirmed
We phoned the business and confirmed the number, hours and location.
Not guaranteed: Price, availability and service quality are not checked.
Identity verified
Authority evidence was reviewed by an editor and is held on file, not published.
Not guaranteed: We do not audit licensing, insurance or safety standards.
Editorially reviewed
An editor visited or independently checked the description and safety notes.
Not guaranteed: It is not a rating, endorsement or ranking factor.
Sponsored placement
A paid placement is in force and is disclosed wherever the listing appears.
Not guaranteed: Payment never buys a badge, a better rank or an editorial opinion.
Verification lapsed
Our confirmation expired — we re-check every 6 months.
Not guaranteed: Nothing has been re-checked since the last date shown.
Freshness and expiry
Contact confirmation lasts 6 months. When it lapses, the badge is removed automatically and the page shows the last date we checked — no one can self-assign a badge, and payment cannot extend one.
Reports and corrections
Reports are allegations, not findings. We review by severity: immediate danger, fraud, impersonation and unlawful content jump the queue. You get a case reference; the internal decision trail stays private. Operators can appeal to editors@mayaro.org with the reference.
