Point Radix Resort

Last verified 15 Aug 2026 · how we verify

Cottages on the Point Radix headland, some with private plunge pools.

A cluster of self-catering cottages on the Point Radix headland south of Mayaro village, set apart from the busier Gould Street strip. Several of the houses have added private plunge pools, which is what most recent guests single out, and the setting is quiet and green. Reviews are few and polarised: one 2025 stay describes it as a safe, relaxing family base, while an earlier one reports arriving to a cottage without power during works. Confirm the state of your specific cottage when booking.

Access & safety notes

The headland access track is unlit and rough after rain; arrive before dark.

  • A great staycation option for families and friends. Safe, peaceful and really relaxing, and the added pools at some of the houses are a nice touch.

  • We arrived just after sunset to a cottage in complete darkness because management chose to carry out electrical repairs at that time.
