The Ranch Restaurant and Bar
Last verified 15 Aug 2026 · how we verify
Country-style restaurant and bar on the Mayaro-Guayaguayare Road, open late.
The Ranch sits a quarter mile along the Mayaro-Guayaguayare Road and plays the part of both kitchen and late bar. The menu runs from grilled snapper and shrimp to local curry and stew alongside American plates, and the room is set up for groups. It opens from late morning and keeps serving until 2am on the nights it trades, so it is one of the few places on the coast to eat after the beachfront kitchens close. It is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

“We got a variety of dishes, from seafood to grilled to local curry. The sides were tasty, the meat was not overcooked and service was good.”

“Always good food at an affordable price, and the quality has been consistent. I would highly recommend it.”
Dr D, Tripadvisor · 5/5 · August 2019
“Visited for lunch and it was not good at all. The stew chicken was missing seasoning and the callaloo was extremely salty.”
