Harry's Beach

Last verified 15 Aug 2026 · how we verify

Family-run beach compound with carrat sheds, a pool and a small petting zoo.

Harry's is a long-standing beach compound in Mayaro offering day use of carrat sheds on the sand, a saltwater pool and simple cottages, plus a small petting zoo that children tend to remember. The buildings are dated and parts of the property have been under repair since the pandemic, which shows in the reviews. The most recent visitors describe daily cleaning and hands-on owners; older reviews are far harsher about the rooms. Treat it as a day facility first and inspect any room before taking it.

  • The place needs renovations, but cleanliness was above board: the yard and steps were washed daily and the carrat sheds in use were clean. The owners were on hand throughout.

    Sarekha M, Tripadvisor · 4/5 · August 2024

  • The shed we took was priced at four hundred and fifty dollars plus fifty per person for the pool, and the sheds were not in good condition.
